Sod, the first vampire to exist is now an aged and sickly man. He has overpopulated the planet and all are now vampires and there is no blood left for them to survive. He decides to end his suffering by facing the sunrise but before he does he reminisces about how it all began. The terror of those he attacked and transformed. His first two, Leechris and Ursa, turned against him and the priest and his beautiful assistant hunted him. his beloved forest is now a crumbling city slum. But although Sod has plans to end his existence Leechris and Ursa have found a way to continue on.

Woody, E-Kohn and Valerie's private cruise turns into terror when their boat sinks. Alone they survived a war, abuse and abandonment, together they must survive all the Pacific Ocean throws at them. And just when rescue is at hand another disaster strikes. A rogue tsunami carries their raft away from the rescue ship and dumps them on a deserted island, and they know the only way for them to be rescued is to get back in the water.
